This is my home. It is located in one of the nicest villages in Val d'Ayas named Crest.
"Mati" is the nickname my parents had, "matu" my dad and "mata" my mom. It doesn't mean anything in Italian, just a shortening for "beloved". This name is a way to keep their memory alive.
I put a lot of work into this cabin and you can tell it, for better or worse, as it's clear I'm not a professional.
Anyway it's full of love and passion, care and attention. I built it to make me happy and I hope you will feel the same.
